BackCatheter
A plastic tube which can be inserted into one of the body's veins or arteries and then manipulated to the heart, where it can deliver drugs, perform tests, and supply therapy to correct a wide range of heart abnormalities.
Catheter-based procedures are much less traumatic for patients than cardiac surgery, although there is naturally a limit on what can be done through a catheter.
